Already established as one of the UK’s leading providers of underfloor heating, screed and acoustic floors Mathewson Limited are seeking to recruit an experienced estimator to supplement our existing management team.

The successful candidate will ideally have a proven track record within either general contracting or specialist sub-contracting and will be able to demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to both the preparation and management of quotations.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for ensuing the delivery of project estimates and cost plans within allocated time constraints and you will become an integral part of the management team of this progressive business as it seeks to achieve its ambitious growth targets.

As part of its continuing growth Mathewson Limited are seeking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic site staff to work on a variety of projects throughout the UK.

Although based in our head office in Durham City a number of our current contracts and clients are outside of the North East and as result successful candidates will be expected to work away from home on a regular basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of our installation and testing teams working on the installaion of acoustic floors, underfloor heating and screeding throughout the UK.

On the job training will be provided to successful candidates who can demonstrate the abilty to work in a small team environment with limited supervision.

Whilst previous construction industry experience is not essential it is advantagous and candidates will be required to undertake and successfully complete site safety awareness training/tesing prior to commencement of their employment.

The salary and remuneration package associated with this position are consistent with good practice within this sector.
