Floating floors have become increasingly popular with the increased use of concrete floors as the main structural element.
Generally a floating floor would consist of a concrete floor/substrate being overlaid with an insulating material, a vapour barrier and a particle board floor which is glued together but not actually fixed to the insulation/subfloor. This allows the floor to move in line with changes in the temperature/humidity within the room.
In this situation it would be necessary to utilise pre-routed floor panels with an inlet aluminium diffusion plate to achieve the required output.
